I spent summer
feeding the cat
memorizing rhymes
counting misgivings
sharpening my teeth

  4. And 'wishing for rain,' You hit it right, Marian, "Kids say the darned things."
    We've not had rain here since mid July. Houston has had several but it seems we are always at the low end of the rain clouds.
