Nothing to Everything

You’ll do just fine
I heard as pain flooded my eyes--
 (oh you’ll be fine
  an episode frozen in time)
Pain capacity maximized--
But now the wind is Woman-Sized
and I’ll be Fine

#11 of 30 Poems in November to benefit the Center for New Americans. Today’s theme is WIND. And the Toads are playing with forms today! This fussy little form is the RONDELET.

  2. You show us how this age-old form can be post-modernized. Loved it.

  3. I can relate to this Marian. A wonderful and as Kerry said modern rondelet. I love it!

It is good to be able to react in a positive manner and allow a leeway. Pain capacity can be truly adjusted!

  6. That's a coincidence, Marian! I wrote my west wind poem before I read your post. I love the woman-sized wind!

  10. I pray justice comes and that woman sized wind keeps howling. I too have a lot of anger. That is why I started Black Ink Howl. I needed a place to vent.
