Connections

The first time it happened
I noticed to myself,
all of us
engrossed in other things.

The next day, we exclaimed
There’s a rainbow!
just as the singer sang
about a rainbow.

We looked at each other.
That’s weird.
It happened yesterday.
Yes. That’s really weird.

We decided to take it
as a good sign.

  2. A good sign indeed. The rainbow, the promise. It indeed makes us mindful to start noticing the beauty around us.

  7. I always consider rainbows a sign that all will be well. Such beauty! Strange how it happened a second time as well.

  8. The best way to see a good sign is to make it so, in creative and positive ways...

Love the style of this poem.

  9. Rainbows are always a good sign, even better when they unexpectantly fulfill a dream. BTW, no two people are seeing the same rainbow.
