She Wishes By the Seashore

Recitation
echoes unwise
undone alone
abalone
unknown pinkest
surges cresting
not best but most

  2. The lines tide wonderfully here, waxing and waning, reforming into similes and rhymes of a fullness that is like saltwater -- everywhere but not much to drink. Sea's a bitter mother, and she-wishes has a daughterly tang.

  9. Ha Marian! I suspect that abalone would crest pinkest-- I think of someone reciting here. Trying hard to get it all right. Lovely string of sounds like pearls. K. Manicddaily
