Rocking Talking & Walking

It’s hard
to be a rock star
with a Louboutin
lodged in your throat

Boot straps myth
never so apt
as describing my days
licking your heels

But thank god
as Nancy Sinatra advised
I remembered how to walk
on my own two feet.

  3. Ah, excellent allusions to boot-licking, Marian, are far more subtly played than mine.

  5. Well done, Marian. I remember when that song was played so often I got sick of it, but you're right, it was great advice.
