caught between what and if

Far away
yet right up close,
close enough to blur
the breeze between what
and if--
Sparrows throw a rose parade
but if I march, they’ll fly.
What if I threw
caution to the wind
and flew?

Such a fresh and beautiful image!

...kind of wish I had the mind to have imagined it first. (grinds teeth)

  11. I don't remember the sparrows taking any of the trophies at the Tournament of Roses Parade...it's breezy in feel and tone, but it's not lightweight by any means; that's no easy combination to pull off.

  12. The sparrows are flying!!!!! Ha...I too love the parade line, do not let SA take that one away from you no matter how much she begs...lol. This was was reason enough to fly...I think you are flying 90% of the time.
