plans for writing,
tumbling, playing, loving in autumn air
gone awry
as all my body wants
is to sleep,
all my head wants
is to stop,
all my heart wants
is to be quiet.
i fight with my body so much. it's bound to catch up with me sooner or later.. i always think i can come to stop, and have quiet even as i rush around and work at fevered pitch. that's probably right madness.
I empathize! I am not one to take naps really, but yesterday I wanted (and took) a nap. It was delightful. I think we must be like bears waiting to hibernate or something.
Yesterday I slept until 11:15am. I think it's the moon, or the stars, or the planets. Something is conspiring against all of us, it just has to be. How else to explain it? :o) — K

I know the feeling. I've been sleeping a lot these day when I really wanted to write more, to see more of my friends, to read more poetry. Is it laziness???
I really like this piece. I can identify with feelings or it inspires feelings in me that are powerful, insightful pieces of analysis that are not happy.
