bauble bubble

take care
not to
explode everything

if you are
petrified
i will feel
compelled
to bubble you up

so you
can reach
the brass ring

glistening
jewels in your eyes
so brilliant
and furied
you cannot see
what is right in front of you.

  3. nice...dazzled by the brass ring that you can not see what stands in front of you...for me this speaks of one so enamored with a dream they fail to the see the precious reality right in front of them...nice one shot

  4. Is it cheap or a cop-out to say I love this poem, and I have no idea why?

odd this one, i keep looking at it too, and i'm the one who wrote it.

  7. That brass ring instantly reminds of a gymnast reaching for a piece of equipment which he imbues with skilful manouevres! Love this!

  8. To me, this is the kind of poem that writes itself.. the subconscious decides it has something to say and the words arrange themselves.
This speaks to me of failed relationship, or loss of communication, and one person's desperate attempt to regain what was lost.
