ah so fragile
heavy words
like blows
embracing
leads to

nighttime tears

& oh! forsythia blooms.

    I'm not that great with flower names, although I probably know more than most straight men who aren't botanists. So I had to look up forsythia. They're pretty yellow flowers. (I probably have pictures somewhere) I presume they smell nice, like a whiff of Spring.

    big wispy bushes with yellow flowers.
    lots of people prune 'em but i think that's a crime as their branches are long and willowy and beautiful. early spring bloomers!
    not aromatic, gotta wait for the lilacs for that :)
