power

cradle my head in your hands
i am strong but you are stronger
use your power for good

cup my head in your hands
thank you for not throttling me
though you most surely could.

  3. The world would be a much better place if the powerful were always good. Nice piece, Marian.

  4. Sweet piece - the title is so apt and I can't help but say I've thought much the same way at times!

  5. Although the power is evident, so also is the gentleness. Cradle my head in your hands speaks of gentle power choosing to be under control.

  7. Just lovely. It's hard to give someone else control and power, but when you can just let go let them use their power for good ... well then the result can be amazing!

  8. love the message you imbued- its important for one who has the power yet must not abuse it and cause someone else hardship.. here's my potluck.. http://fiveloaf.wordpress.com/2009/11/29/cinderella-for-a-man/

  11. This is oh, so romantic! You know you're in love when you're willing to let someone have power over you. To love, you have to allow yourself to become vulnerable. That's what I believe, at least.
